4 Days Ssese Islands on Lake Victoria

Destination: Uganda
Lake Victoria is the largest lake in Africa and the second largest freshwater lake in the world (after Lake Superior of North America) with 68,800 sq km of area and 1100m above sea level. It is shared by Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. With its number of islands, green pristine tropical vegetation, traditional fishing villages and fish preparation, traditional transportation by local canoes with engine, Lake Victoria is a world on its own worthy to be experienced. The Ssese Islands are an archipelago of about 80 islands on the side of Uganda. A regular daily ferry boat connects Entebbe to Bugala Island (the main island) at Lutoboka Bay.
